Our philosophy is to provide a fun, safe environment where all boys and girls can focus on developing their cricket skills and love for the game, while making sure everyone gets a fair go no matter what level they are.

Swanbourne Cricket Club proudly offers Junior Cricket programs covering:

Junior Blast (K - Y1) Friday Evenings 5pm - 6pm

Friday 22nd October to Friday 10th December (8 weeks in Term 4)

Recommended for kids aged 5-7 of all skills and abilities


60 minutes of fun each session


Participate in skill development activities and modified games


Make new friends and learn new skills including catching, throwing and teamwork


All kids get their own Blasters Pack and wear the colours of their favourite Big Bash heroes


Parents join in the fun!

60 minutes of action each session


At least six weeks of fast-paced cricket games


For kids with basic cricket skills who can bowl with a straight arm over 14 metres


Every kid gets a chance to bat, bowl and field


Wear the colours of your favourite Big Bash heroes in your choice of coloured player cap


Make new friends or organise a group to play together


All equipment supplied, parents join in the fun

Saturday Mornings 8am - 10am

Under 10s (Y3 - Y4) Under 11s (Y5) Under 12s (Y6) Boys & Girls Teams

Saturday 16th October to Saturday 12th March (16 games)

Please Note – AGE GROUP CUT OFF - The age group cut-off date is 30 June this year.

So, to play under 11s for example, the player must be no more than 10 years old on 30 June this year for the upcoming season.

Allows kids to transition based on ability to the adult game


Team kit equipment provided - just bring your cricket whites


Fun and active


There are less players on the field = more action for players


Shorter pitch lengths & boundaries = more action and supports improved skill development


Shorter game time = games last between 2 & 3 hours and are played on the weekends or mid week after school
