Our philosophy is to provide a fun, safe environment where all boys and girls can focus on developing their cricket skills and love for the game, while making sure everyone gets a fair go no matter what level they are.

Junior Blasters

Junior Blast (K – Y1) Friday Evenings 5pm – 6pm

Friday 21st October to Friday 9th December (8 weeks in Term 4)

Recommended for kids aged 5-7 of all skills and abilities

60 minutes of fun each session

Participate in skill development activities and modified games

Make new friends and learn new skills including catching, throwing and teamwork

All kids get their own Blasters Pack and wear the colours of their favourite Big Bash heroes

Parents join in the fun!

Master Blasters

Swanbourne Cricket Club – Allen Park, Swanbourne

Master Blast (Y2 – Y3) Friday Evenings 5pm – 6:00pm

Friday 21st October to Friday 9th December (8 weeks in Term 4)

We will aim to have 2 Friday night games in February (Term 1 2023)
using Stage 1 Junior Format rules (real cricket with pads, helmets and using a Softa ball) to give the kids a feel for Year 4 cricket in season 2023/24
Recommended for kids aged 7-10

60 minutes of action each session

Skills development and fast-paced cricket games

For kids with basic cricket skills who can bowl with a straight arm over 14 metres

Every kid gets a chance to bat, bowl and field

Wear the colours of your favourite Big Bash heroes in your choice of coloured player cap

Make new friends or organise a group to play together

All equipment supplied, parents join in the fun

Junior Age Group Cricket

Saturday Mornings 8am – 10am

Year 4 (formerly Under 10s), Year 5 (formerly Under 11s)
and Year 6 (formerly Under 12s)
Boys & Girls Teams

Saturday 15th October to Saturday 18th March (16 games)

Please Note – AGE GROUP CUT OFF – New for Season 2022/23

Your child will play in the age group based on their current school year at start of the season.

Perfect for girls & boys aged 8+ years

For kids with basic cricket skills

Play real games of cricket (Softa ball, pads and helmets supplied)

We offer professional coaching support for parent coaches and helpers

Team kit equipment provided – just bring your cricket whites

Fun and active, outdoors in the fresh air
There are less players on the field = more action for players

Shorter pitch lengths & boundaries = more action and supports improved skill development

Shorter game time = games last 2 hours and are played on Saturday mornings
